Rain Water Harvesting

Nature has blessed India with abundant rain fall. But still we face water scarcity. This paradox can be resolved by facilitating percolation of water in the soil. This results in augmenting the quantity of sub-soil water, which can be utilized subsequently. With this view Paryavaran Dakshata Manch is vigorously pursuing the idea of rainwater harvesting.

It is being done by a simple yet effective technique, of collecting rooftop rainwater and guiding it into a scientifically designed percolation pit or into a well or bore-well, wherever such structures are available.

Paryavaran Dakshata Manch provides consultancy or does turnkey jobs of rainwater harvesting. It also conducts seminars to teach this technique.
